Preface

This easy to read and understand book is intended to assist people, especially Christians, to realise their potential in dealing with circumstances that befall them. The intention of the book is to enable all people from all age groups to cope with all the issues that they face in their daily lives.

Strength and courage is readily available and not just that; they are also readily accessible through Christ. Bible verses are quoted in the text to relate the context of the book to the divine calling we have in God through Christ Jesus.

The book can be used as a motivational tool, an encouraging agent and a religious guide assisting through life.

In this fast-paced and busy life, a book that addresses everyday stresses and frustrations is essential. We need God daily; this book is an excellent reminder of this.

Acknowledgements

The Bible verses used in this book are taken directly from the New International Version (NIV) Holy Bible titled Bride’s Bible. Thank you to all who compiled and updated this version; and thank you to my Aunt Feziwe Ngcongwane for giving it to me on my wedding day.

Thank you to my husband, Lwazi for his unwavering support through all our trials and tribulations; especially during the loss of our children Thozama and Zizipho respectively. Your love for me gives new meaning to each day.

Thank you to Nkonzo my son, forever assimilating the actions of his dad and caring for me. To Lilitha, my daughter, you are indeed a bright ray of sunshine in my life…just like your name.

Thank you to my mother, Luleka Ngubane for running her race to this point, raising us in spite of the conditions that were eager to swallow her up on a daily basis and yet she prevailed. You run a beautiful race Mother. You are a true inspiration on how to aspire to finish a race without ever quitting.

My husband and children keep me going. I love all of you!

Dedication

This book is dedicated to the memory of my daughter, Zizipho Khanyiswa Buthelezi, who, at the tender age of just under three years, left us suddenly and brutally. You were the heart and joy of our family; we love and miss you dearly. Even though your race was a short one, to us your family, it is perfect and complete in the eyes of the Lord.
